PDXFUNTIME!
Description
PDXFUNTIME! is an event listing site for Portland, Oregon. Online from 2008-2010, it featured fun events and an interactive community. The challenge was to provide an intuitive way to browse event listings in a fun and exciting manner.
My Solution
Using Social Engine as a development platform, I created a web design that was colorful and fun. Custom PHP programming allowed me to create category and event listings that let the user quickly navigate and find events of interest. The header features a custom flash component that connects to the database to display fun facts and upcoming events.
