While developing PDXFUNTIME! I came across a challenge. How do you support events with multiple dates without coding an elaborate recurring event system?
My Solution
My conceptual solution was to create a user interface that allowed the user to input event dates in a traditional manner. By adding a duplicate feature, the user can then duplicate any occurrence and modify the date/time using common recurring date intervals. This approach removes coding complexity from the back-end CMS while retaining many of the features of a recurring date system.
