Two weeks ago, I decided to take a break from the children’s book dummy that I have been working. During that time I began work on another project that I’ve been really excited about. I call it… Fuzzy Bunny Cute Shop!

What is Fuzzy Bunny Cute Shop? Well, it’s an online store that sells my cute fuzzy bunny work on merchandise! I’m setting up a Zazzle store that will allow you to purchase products that feature my designs. My first area of focus will be on necklaces and pendants with cute rabbits.

I’m going to launch in the next couple weeks!

I’ve completed a first draft of the book dummy in both black and white and in color.  It’s really looking great!  I’ve been getting positive feedback from my friends and peers.  Victoria Jamieson (who taught my children’s book illustration class at PNCA) has be gracious enough to provide some detailed feedback.

Right now, I’m taking a critical look at the story structure and deciding what I need to tweak.  I’ve decided to take a brief break from the book.  This will give me a bit of space and distance so I can see what needs to change when i come back to it.

So far… I think it looks fantastic!  Thanks for everyone’s support!

Painting on my upcoming children’s book has officially started. I’m planning on releasing on the iPad to start with. It features the adorable Squidgie Rabbit showing you how much he loves you. I can best describe this book as sweet, cute and filled with rabbits and animals.

The geese would hiss and chase my brother and I around the unfenced yard.  My dad told me to be careful.  “Those geese can break your arm with their wings,” he warned.  The only thing that could protect us was the garden hose, but it wasn’t to be found this morning.
